Our aim is to also provide a flexible, private space for people to do their thing. A place to go slow. To work undisturbed. To heal the body. To educate the mind. Take online courses. Meditate. Read. Write. Stretch. Chill.

Small groups (the puzzle makers, book clubs, D&D, knitters, new moms...) are also welcome at 5th Space to socialize.

We welcome psychotherapists and somatic practitioners to use the space to see clients in-person or virtually, as well as professionals that require a space for small meetings.

A small quiet room with 12 ft ceilings, wood floor, frosted skylight, painted brick wall, and growing collection of plants.

General amenities include: wifi - desk and chair - printer - reading chair - 4 folding chairs- coat rack - bar fridge - Brita filter - mugs - kettle - coffee&tea - bluetooth speaker - pillow and throws - yoga mat and blocks - bolster - meditation cushion - Muse meditation headband - acupressurer mat - floor mat - gravity chair - headphones - eyemask - mirror - floor fan - pens/paper/notepads.

On the second floor close to the stairwell. Also accessible by elevator (via the 276 Carlaw entrance). Please note that the elevator is located a several minutes walk through the building.

Communal washrooms are located down the hall.

There is no sink in the unit.

The space is available 9am - 8pm everyday.

Access to the space is granted via personalized time-sensitive passcode, with a buffer 1/2hr between clients.

In consideration of the following client, you are responsible to return the space to a default arrangement, return amenities to their storage spots, and spot clean any spills or mess.

To ensure the integrity of our vision as a place of wellness and community, we reserve the right to vet users and deny use of the space.

In consideration of our neighbours, sound rehearsals of any kind are not permitted – no instruments, acting or singing.

We wish to keep the space clean and dry for everyone. No painting, sculpting, woodwork, cooking or glue-based activities permitted.

No pets. No burning incense or candles. No smoking or drug use. No sex work or pornography. No parties.

We are in soft launch mode and appreciate your patience as we work through how best to serve our community.

• Space is currently available for $30 per hour (including hst) for both professional and personal use
• Inquiries will be vetted for appropriate use of the space. We reserve the right to decline bookings
• Booking requests to be made via email
• Payment required to reserve your time block
• Currently payments to be made via e-transfer only
• With enough interest, an on-demand booking calendar for regular guests will be implemented
